COLUMBIA, Mo. – Missouri Basketball will host its Black and Gold Game scrimmages on Oct. 15, featuring dual autograph sessions from the Tiger men's and women's basketball programs, as well as scrimmages from both teams.

Below is a pre-event primer designed to help fans as they attend Tuesday's event at Mizzou Arena.

COMMUTE TO MIZZOU ARENA - Due to renovations at Memorial Stadium, Mick Deaver Drive from Stadium Blvd. to Champions Drive will be closed for the Black & Gold Game. Fans are encouraged to take one of the alternate routes to access Mizzou Arena's parking lots.

Mick Deaver will be open for all other basketball games, including exhibition games following Oct. 15.

PARKING - Parking for the Black & Gold Game is free. Lot I (directly across from Mizzou Arena's North entrance) will be reserved for fans needing improved accessibility to Mizzou Arena. An ADA hangtag will be required for entry into Lot I.

TICKETS - Tickets to the Black & Gold Game are just $3 (free for Mizzou students) and may be purchased at the door the night of the event. Fans can also enter free with a donation of three canned food items per person. All collected items will go to benefit Tiger Pantry. While admission is free for Mizzou students, they are encouraged to donate canned food items at the door as well.

TIGER PANTRY - A partner with The Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri, Tiger Pantry strives to provide food assistance for those in need within the University of Missouri community. The goal is to change the perception of hunger on campus and to offer resources to students, faculty and staff so that they may focus on the experiences uniquely available at Mizzou.

Donation bins for Tiger Pantry will be visible upon entry.

MIZZOU ARENA ENTRY - Fans are encouraged to enter Mizzou Arena from the North and South entrances. Mizzou Arena's East entrance will be closed. All Zou Crew members and students are encouraged to enter at the North entrance.

SEATING AT MIZZOU ARENA - Seating at Mizzou Arena will be open to all fans with the exception of Tiger Row, the suite level and the loge areas on the east end of the court. Reserved seating will be held behind team benches for player and coach family/guests. All other areas are open!

AUTOGRAPHS - All fans are welcome to get autographs of their favorite Tiger student-athletes prior to the scrimmages. Autograph locations will be located on the concourse of Mizzou Arena, behind the student section. Mizzou will provide team picture autograph cards for signatures or fans may bring in one item to autograph per person. Autographs begin at 6 p.m. and will conclude at 6:45 p.m.

SCRIMMAGES - Both the Tiger men's and women's teams will be in action starting at 6:45 p.m. The Tiger women will play two 10-minute halves, while the Tiger men will play two 15-minute halves. Both teams will be introduced to the crowd prior to their respective scrimmages.

MIZZOU STATS APPLICATION - A new, free, in-game statistical distribution system is in place for Mizzou fans during home events. can be accessed from desktop and mobile devices, with the mobile website available to most smart phones and tablets (Android, iPhone, BlackBerry, etc.). The TapStats mobile application used in previous years on iOS devices will no longer be in service.

SMOKING POLICY - As of July 1, 2013, the University of Missouri has become a smoke-free campus. In order to promote an enjoyable game day experience for everyone, smoking is not permitted in Memorial Stadium or in the surrounding parking lots. For more information you can visit

WEAR GOLD - All fans are encouraged to wear gold to each of the Tigers' games, with the exception of the annual Blackout game. The Tiger Team Store, located Mizzou Arena, has plenty of gold-colored merchandise on sale, with the store opening at 6 p.m. Additionally, the Tiger Team Store located at Memorial Stadium will be open on Tuesday beginning at 9 a.m.
