COLUMBIA, Mo. – Season tickets for Missouri Basketball are now on sale through the Mizzou Athletics Ticket Office, starting as low as $199 for select seats.

Tickets in the $199 sections can be purchased online at mutigers.com or by calling the Mizzou Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-CAT-PAWS (884-PAWS in Mid-Missouri). Fans interested in premium seating options should contact the ticket office or register to have seat information sent to them.

Head Coach Mike Anderson and the Tigers will host 20 games inside Mizzou Arena this winter and of course Missouri was one of the nation's best home court teams in 2009, going a perfect 18-0, while owning the nation's largest home court scoring margin (+25.2 ppg). In addition, Missouri's current 19-game home court winning streak ranks #7 in America and is the sixth longest in school history.

MU welcomes back 10 letterwinners and three players with significant starting experience from last year's record-setting 31-7 season, including Big 12 Co-Defensive Player of the Year J.T. Tiller. Tiller and backcourt running mate Zaire Taylor helped Missouri lead the nation in assists just one season ago and along with fellow senior Keith Ramsey, will allow Mizzou to be one of the nation's top defensive units in 2010.

Missouri Basketball opens the 2009-10 season with its annual Black & Gold Game on Oct. 23, the Friday of Homecoming Weekend in Columbia. Tickets for the Black & Gold Game are just $5 and a portion of the proceeds go to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Columbia. Doors to Mizzou Arena open at 7 p.m. and tip-off is slated for 8 p.m., with Governor Jay Nixon squaring off against UM System President Gary Forsee as honorary coaches.
