The start of the 2007-08 college basketball season is quickly approaching and Mizzou Basketball is inviting fans to attend a team workout at 10 a.m. inside Mizzou Arena prior to Saturday's football home-opener against Western Michigan on Sept. 15.
Per NCAA rules, college basketball coaching staffs are allowed to workout with their entire squad for a maximum of two hours per week starting on Sept. 15 and the Tigers will workout from approximately 10-11 a.m. prior to kickoff vs. the Broncos.
Admission to the workout is free to the general public and doors on the north side of Mizzou Arena (Faurot Field side) will be the most convenient way to enter the arena.
The open workout will run in conjunction with the annual Tiger Scholarship Fund Day tailgate, which is scheduled from 10:30-12:30 p.m. on the Walsworth Family Plaza. Walsworth Plaza is located on the northeast corner of Mizzou Arena.
The TSF Day tailgate provides free food and beverages to TSF members and each attending TSF member is allowed to bring up to three members of their immediate family to join the tailgating fun. Each additional family member is just $5 per person.
