Columbia, Mo. - Add another national TV game to Mizzou Basketball's 2009-10 schedule. The Tigers learned on Thursday that their Dec. 2 contest at Vanderbilt has been selected for ESPNU and will be played at 8:30 p.m. CT in Nashville.

Missouri could now play up to 14 national TV games this year, with 11 coming on the ESPN Family of networks, one on CBS (March 6 vs. Kansas) and two on Fox College Sports (South Padre Invitational). The semifinal rounds and the championship game of the South Padre Island Invitational will be televised on F.C.S.

Regardless of that championship game in South Padre, Missouri will set a new school record for national TV appearances during the regular season. The previous mark of 12 was set in 2003-04 and was equaled last year. The Tigers eventually played a school record 18 national TV games a year ago, including two during the team's run to a Big 12 Championship in Oklahoma City and four in NCAA Tournament action.

Missouri Basketball opens its 2009-10 campaign on Nov. 6 with an exhibition contest against Truman State at Mizzou Arena. Regular-season play begins on Nov. 17 against Tennessee-Martin.
