Complete 2014-15 Schedule

Aug. 22, 2014

Columbia, Mo. - Missouri Basketball announced its complete regular-season schedule on Friday as a trip to the 2014 Maui Invitational and the 33rd annual Bud Light Braggin' Rights Game against Illinois highlight a challenging slate of games. Mizzou has five non-conference games currently scheduled against clubs that won 20 (or more) games a season ago and 10 of its 11 opponents on the schedule (not including the two TBD opponents in Maui) finished at or above .500 overall.

Missouri begins a home and home series against Xavier and faces former league rivals Oklahoma (Dec. 5) and Oklahoma State (Dec. 30) in December, helping the Tigers appear on national TV in non-league play like never before.

"We have a very challenging and compelling non-conference schedule this season, a schedule that will give our young team a chance to play against some of the best programs in America night in and night out," Head Coach Kim Anderson said. "With the schedule and our great partnership with ESPN, we will also have the opportunity to showcase our program nationally like never before. We will have a record number of national TV games this season and when we talk about recruiting elite players to Mizzou, playing on national TV and playing against other great programs is something we will always be able to offer."

Missouri opens the Anderson era on Nov. 14 against UMKC. In an opening-round game of the Maui Invitational, Mizzou faces the Kangaroos for the first time since 2009, and the Tigers lead the series 3-0 all-time. The Tigers are back in action two days later against Valparaiso (Nov. 16) before a Nov. 19 game against Oral Roberts. Missouri is 3-0 all-time vs. the Crusaders, but the two clubs haven't met since the 2002-03 season. Missouri and Oral Roberts meet for the eighth time in series history and for the first time since an 81-62 Tiger win on Dec. 16, 2010.

Following three games in Maui, including a Nov. 24 national-television contest against Arizona, the Tigers return home to face another in-state squad, Southeast Missouri State at Mizzou Arena on Dec. 2. The Tigers and SEMO are meeting for the eighth time with the most recent meeting coming on Dec. 4, 2012.

The schedule continues to heat up in December as a road date at Oklahoma (Dec. 5) in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge Presented by Sonic and a home game vs. Elon lead to the start of the Xavier home and home series. The Tigers and Musketeers meet on ESPN2 at 3 p.m. on Dec. 13. The 33rd annual Bud Light Braggin' Rights game awaits the Tigers after finals week. Illinois leads the series 28-16 and won 65-64 last season at Scottrade Center in St. Louis. This year's game will be televised on ESPN2 at 1 p.m. CT.

Mizzou then finishes out non-league play against Oklahoma State and Lipscomb. The Tigers and Cowboys meet for the 119th time in series history on Dec. 30 in Kansas City's Sprint Center. Tickets for that game are on sale now at SprintCenter.com.

The non-league schedule concludes on Jan. 3 vs. Lipscomb. It's Mizzou's second all-time meeting with the Bison.

Dates and times for Missouri's exhibition games against William-Jewell and Missouri-St. Louis will be announced in the near future.

Game times and network designations for non-conference games will be announced by the SEC at a later date.
