Birmingham, Ala. - ESPN announced the television network designations and start times for the 2014 SEC/Big 12 Challenge Presented by Sonic on Tuesday. Five of the inter-conference games will be televised by either ESPN or ESPN2 while four games will be shown on ESPNU and one on the SEC Network.

This is the second season that the SEC and the Big 12 Conference have met on the hardwood in an inter-conference event. All 10 of the Big 12's teams and 10 of the SEC's 14 member institutions participate in the annual event. Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi State and Texas A&M will not play this year.

Missouri and Oklahoma are set to meet on Dec. 5 (Friday) at 8:30 p.m. CT in Norman on ESPNU. The Tigers have won three consecutive meetings against the Sooners, including a 71-68 win at the Lloyd Noble Center on Feb. 6, 2012.

The SEC/Big 12 Challenge (the event title will rotate to SEC/Big 12 Challenge in 2014) is a combination of existing games already scheduled along with new matchups created for this event during November and December.

While not a part of the 2014 SEC/Big 12 Challenge, Missouri also faces Oklahoma State of the Big 12 Conference later in December. That game is scheduled for Dec. 30 at Sprint Center in Kansas City. Game time and television designation will be announced on a later date. Tickets for the Sprint Center game are on sale now by visiting
