Columbia, Mo. -
Mizzou Basketball received final confirmation of their three Canadian opponents for this month's tour as the Tigers will face the Ontario All-Stars on Aug. 30, defending Canadian National Champion Brock University on Aug. 31 and the Southern Ontario All-Stars on Sept. 1.
Missouri will depart Columbia on Aug. 29 in the afternoon and will fly out of St. Louis at approximately 5:35 p.m. (CT). Following a short layover, the team is expected to land in Buffalo, N.Y., at approximately 10:20 p.m. (ET) and will spend the evening in Niagara Falls, Canada.
Missouri opens its exhibition tour on Aug. 30 at 5:30 p.m. (ET) against the Ontario All-Stars and will have a chance to watch the No. 7 Tiger Football team later that evening in the season-opener against Illinois. Tiger fans will be able to hear Head Coach Mike Anderson talk about his hardwood squad after that opening game on the Tiger Radio Network's football pre-game show with Mike Kelly, Chris Gervino and Coach John Kadlec.
Mizzou will then face defending Canadian National Champion Brock University on Aug. 31 at 2 p.m. (ET) before taking in some of the sites in the area, including a Maid of the Mist tour. Both the Aug. 30-31 contests will be held at the Bob Davis Gymnasium in St. Catharines, Ontario and mutigers.com will provide live in-game updates (in Blog form) of both games thanks to the assistance of Brock University.
The Tigers wrap up their three-game tour on Sept. 1 vs. the Southern Ontario All-Stars at 10 a.m. (ET). That contest will be played in Welland, Ontario. Due to a lack of internet availability in the facility, no live Blog will be available for that third contest.
Following the game the team will travel to the Buffalo Airport and are expected back in Columbia at 10 p.m. that evening.
