For Openers...
> Mizzou Basketball will finish the regular season in Knoxville, Tenn., for the second consecutive season as the Tigers and Volunteers meet on Saturday at 3 p.m. ... > Missouri is looking for its 10th league victory on Saturday ... The club has already secured at least a .500 finish in league play and the Tigers have been .500 or better in league competition each season since 2008-09.
> Missouri is looking to finish the regular season with 22 wins for the fourth time in five years ... The lone exception was in 2012, Frank Haith’s first season, when Mizzou entered the Big 12 Tournament with 27 victories ... Haith is also approaching his 200th career win ... The third year Missouri coach has 198 wins to his credit, including 69 at Missouri.
> Frank Haith became the first coach in Mizzou history with three consecutive 20-win seasons to open his Tiger tenure ... Norm Stewart, Mike Anderson, Quin Snyder and now Haith are the lone coaches at Mizzou with three straight 20-win seasons an overall, the Tigers have topped 20 wins for six consecutive years, a school record ... Mizzou has won 151 games over that six-year stretch.
> The Tigers will look to halt a four-game skid on the road ... Missouri does have some impressive road wins to its credit this year including a win at North Carolina State and at Arkansas ... Mizzou is 2-2 all-time in Knoxville and last won at Tennessee on Dec. 16, 1972 (67-57) ... Tiger Radio Network analyst Gary Link scored 13 points in that win.
> Mizzou’s Jabari Brown continues to be one of the SEC’s most consistent performers ... Brown has been in double figures in each of the team’s 30 games this year and topped 20 points for the 12th time in his last 15 league games with 20 points and four rebounds vs. Texas A&M on Wednesday ... During league play, Brown leads the SEC in scoring (21.4) and ranks first in three-point percentage (.432) ... > Jabari Brown (168), Jordan Clarkson (145) and Earnest Ross (127) have each surpassed 100 free throw makes this year ... The Tigers haven’t had three players with 100 makes in a season since 1995-96.
