> Mizzou Basketball returns home to host the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon as the Tigers have back-to-back home games vs. MSU and the Texas A&M Aggies before concluding the regular season next Saturday at Tennessee.
> Mizzou is searching for its sixth consecutive 20-win campaign on Saturday ... MU’s next victory will also be the program’s 150th over the last six seasons, extending its school record for a six-year stretch.
> Mizzou is looking for its fourth consecutive home victory on Saturday ... The Tigers most recently earned home wins over Arkansas, Tennessee and Vanderbilt before two road losses at Alabama and Georgia.
> Mizzou’s Jabari Brown continues to be one of the SEC’s most consistent performers ... Brown has been in double figures in each of the team’s 28 games this year and topped 20 points for the 10th time in 15 league games with 23 points and five assists at Alabama last Saturday ... During league play, Brown leads the SEC in scoring (21.5) and ranks second in three-point percentage (.468) ... He is also ranked among the league’s Top Six in five categories, including field goal percentage (4th, .485), free throw percentage (5th, .841) and three-point makes per game (6th, 2.5).
> Brown is quickly approaching 1,000 career points as a Tiger ... He has 916 career points overall (also scored 12 points in two games at Oregon) and 904 have come in a Tiger uniform in just 53 career games dating back to Dec. 17 of last season ... Brown is averaging 17.1 points over his MU career and could become the first Tiger to score 1,000 points in just two seasons since the Junkyard Dog, DeMarre Carroll (1,046 points in 70 career games).
> Speaking of Carroll, the fifth-year NBA player, and current Atlanta Hawks starter, is coming off a 24-point, seven-rebound effort in a road game at Boston on Wednesday ... Another former Tiger, Phil Pressey, helped the Celtics to a 115-104 win however with two points, four assists and four boards in 18 minutes.
> Back to Brown, few have been more consistent on the offensive end than the junior over the last seven weeks ... In addition to topping 20 points in 10 of his last 13 games, including 23 at Alabama last Saturday, Brown is averaging 22.2 points on 50 percent shooting from the floor and 46 percent shooting from three-point range ... Brown has been especially good in the second half of games over his last 13, averaging 13.3 points on 52 percent shooting from the floor and 47 percent shooting from beyond the arc.
> Brown (20.1 ppg) and Jordan Clarkson (18.6) are the third highest scoring tandem in college basketball this season, combining for 38.7 points per outing ... Brown and Clarkson are just behind the Auburn pair of Chris Denson (20.4) and KT Harrell (18.4) and Louisiana-Lafayette’s Elfrid Payton (19.5) and Shawn Long (19.5) ... They are also tied in the scoring column with VMI’s QJ Peterson (19.9) and Rodney Glasgow (18.8).
> Brown, Clarkson and Ross (14.3) are also the nation’s No. 2 scoring trio this year behind VMI’s Peterson, Glasgow and D.J. Covington (18.1).

Mizzou Basketball Cliffs...
> Missouri will look to stop a two-game losing skid on Saturday afternoon as the Tigers host Mississippi State for the first time since the 2006-07 season.
> Mississippi State’s last trip to Mizzou Arena saw the Tigers grab an 83-75 win on Jan. 2, 2007 ... Overall, Mizzou is 3-1 vs. Mississippi State and Saturday’s game is the second meeting between the two as league counterparts.
> Mississippi State Head Coach Rick Ray is a Kansas City-area native ... The second year head coach attended Sumner Academy and also coached at Mizzou Arena in 2007-08 as a member of Purdue’s coaching staff ... The Tigers won that game 73-63 on Dec. 9, 2007.
> Missouri is looking to improve to 14-2 at home this season and 8-8 overall in SEC play ... The Tigers have been at .500 or better in league play each year since the 2007-08 campaign.
> Mizzou is coming off a 71-56 loss at Georgia on Tuesday ... Jabari Brown and Jordan Clarkson each scored 17 points, but the Tigers went cold from the floor, hitting just 32 percent of its shots for the game (season low) and 17 percent from three-point range (second lowest of the year), in the 15-point setback ... Ryan Rosburg was a bright spot for Mizzou grabbing a career high 12 rebounds and Johnathan Williams III scored 10 points in 22 minutes.
> Missouri has been in a number of tight ball games this season ... Of the club’s last 21 games, 19 have  been decided by 10 points or less ... The 20 total games decided by 10 points or less this year are the most since the 2004-05 season (22).
> Mizzou continues to lead the Southeastern Conference in free throw shooting, hitting 73.3 percent on the year and an improved 75.1 percent during league play ... The Tigers have made 552 total free throws this season and are on pace to top 600 free throw makes for just the sixth time in program history and for the first time since 1995-96.
> Missouri’s 19.7 free throw makes per game ranks No. 18 nationally and No. 2 in the SEC behind Kentucky (20.8).
> Jabari Brown (154), Jordan Clarkson (139) and Earnest Ross (120) have each surpassed 100 free throw makes this year ... The Tigers haven’t had three players with 100 makes in a season since 1995-96.
> Freshman forward Torren Jones has scored 23 points over his last seven games, including a career high eight points on 4-of-5 shooting against Tennessee on Feb. 15 ... Prior to his last seven contests, Jones had scored just eight total points in the season’s first 21 games.
> Missouri has had at least one player score 20 or more points in 22-of-28 games this season and have enjoyed multiple 20-point scorers nine times, including six of its last 10 games ... Jabari Brown has logged 20 points in 10 of his last 13 contests, including a career high 33 points vs. Kentucky and most recently 23 at Alabama ... Brown has topped 20 points 20 times in his career and Mizzou is 15-5 in those contests.
> The Tigers have a total of 34 20-point games this season, all coming from Brown (15), Clarkson (14) and Ross (5) ... Missouri had a player top 20 points 25 times all of last season.
> Missouri recorded a rare ACC road win on Dec. 28 at N.C. State ... Although the Tigers haven’t played many road games in ACC territory, the win in Raleigh was the second in ACC country in program history ... Mizzou won 87-73 at Maryland on Jan. 24, 1989 ... It was the club’s first non-league road win since a 75-68 win at Old Dominion on Dec. 30, 2011.
> Head Coach Frank Haith will coach his 323rd career game overall on Saturday and is 67-25 in three seasons at Mizzou ... Haith was the fastest coach in school history to 50 wins and has just one starter back for the second consecutive campaign.
> Haith is quickly approaching his 200th career victory ... He has 196 career wins heading into Saturday’s game.
> Johnathan Williams, III (6.7 rpg) is on pace to become the first Tiger freshman to lead the team in rebounding since Linas Kleiza (8.4) in 2003-04 ... Williams is coming off a 12-rebound effort at Arkansas and is No. 10 in the SEC in rebounding.
> Mizzou plays in the friendly confines of Mizzou Arena where the club is 46-3 since 2011-12 and went a perfect 17-0 at home last season.
> Mizzou boasts a 150-23 (.867) record at home since the building opened in 2004-05 ... The Tigers are also 97-6 at home since 2008-09, amounting to an incredible .942 winning percentage.
> Non-conference opponents have not enjoyed their stops in Columbia, Mo., over the last few seasons and the Tigers have raced to an incredible 81 consecutive wins at home vs. non-league opposition since the end of the 2005-06 campaign ... Missouri’s last non-conference loss at home came vs. Sam Houston State in the 2005 Preseason NIT, but since then, Missouri has gone nearly eight full seasons without a loss.
> That non-conference win streak is No. 2 nationally behind Duke ... Duke has won 109 consecutive non-ACC games at home.
> Jordan Clarkson recorded the first 30-point game of the SEC season on Nov. 12 and logged the 26th 30-point game during Missouri’s SEC / Big 12 eras ... Clarkson needed just 18 shots to reach 31 points (12-of-18 FGs), and is one of just two Tigers during the two eras to have 30+ points, 5+ assists and zero turnovers ... Clarence Gilbert had a ridiculous 43 points, nine assists and zero turnovers vs. Iowa State in a four overtime win on Jan. 13, 2001.
> Head Coach Frank Haith enters his third season at Missouri and will look to lead the Tigers to their third consecutive 20-win campaign ... Only Norm Stewart, Quin Snyder and Mike Anderson have enjoyed three 20-win seasons at Mizzou ... Stewart of course led the way with 17 20-win campaigns ... Snyder and Anderson each had three.
> Missouri has won at historic levels over the last five seasons ... In fact the Tigers have won 23+ games each of the last five seasons.
> The five consecutive 20-win seasons is a school record and Missouri’s five consecutive trips to the NCAA Tournament is the longest active streak in the Southeastern Conference.
> Mizzou Arena has been the site of two undefeated home seasons in its history ... Missouri was 18-0 in 2008-09 and was 17-0 at home last season ... Hearnes Center, the former home of Missouri Basketball, was the site of five undefeated home campaigns (1974-75, 1980-81, 1988-89, 1989-90 and 1993-94).
> Since 2006-07 (72-0) the club’s margin of victory has been 25.8 points in those non-league home tilts.
> Mizzou has three transfers sitting out this season ... Zach Price transferred from Louisville, where the 6-foot-10 forward was a member of the Cardinals’ NCAA National Championship team ... Deuce Bello transferred from Baylor ... Both will be classified as redshirt juniors next season ... Most recently the Tigers added Cam Biedscheid from Notre Dame at semester break.
> Mizzou will be on national television a school-record  20 times this season ... That number has grown each of Mizzou’s two years in the SEC ... The Tigers were on national TV 18 times last season, which was also a school record.
> Mizzou was picked fifth in the Southeastern Conference’s preseason media poll ... Kentucky was the projected league champion.
