> Mizzou Basketball looks for its third consecutive win on Wednesday as the Tigers host the Vanderbilt Commodores at Mizzou Arena ... Mizzou and Vandy are tied for fifth in the current SEC standings and both clubs are just one game out of fourth place and two games out of third ... The Commodores have won four of their last six games, including a 57-54 overtime win against Texas A&M, while the Tigers are looking for three consecutive league wins before hitting the road this weekend at Alabama.
> Mizzou had one of its most balanced efforts of the season in the win over Tennessee ... Jabari Brown led the Tigers with 24 points on 8-of-12 shooting and post players Johnathan Williams, III, Torren Jones and Keanau Post combined to hit 9-of-11 field goal attempts for 22 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks in 51 minutes of playing time ... The 22 points combined from those three newcomers was a season high and helped to balance Tennessee’s forward tandem of Jarnell Stokes and Jeronne Maymon who combined for 18 points and 15 rebounds.
> Also critical for the Tigers was senior guard Earnest Ross, who had 15 points, three assists and a season-high four steals in the win over the Volunteers ... Ross hit 7-of-9 free throws and continues to rank among the SEC’s leaders in free throw makes (No. 4 with 60) and free throw percentage (No. 8 .833) through 12 league contests.
> As mentioned, Brown hit for 20 points yet again in the victory over Tennessee and continues to lead the Southeastern Conference in scoring during league play with 22.8 points per game ... Brown has topped 20 points nine times in his last 10 games and has topped double figures in 26 consecutive games dating back to last season ... That streak is the longest active run in the SEC, tied with Alabama’s Trevor Releford.
> Speaking of Brown, has anyone in college basketball been better than the Oakland native over the last six weeks?... In addition to topping 20 points in nine of his last 10 games, including 22 in the first meeting with Vanderbilt, Brown is averaging 23.9 points on 54 percent shooting from the floor, 54 percent shooting from three-point range and 89.3 percent shooting at the free throw line ... Brown is averaging 1.3 points per field goal attempt, not including his impressive 67-of-75 (.893) shooting at the foul line ... Brown has been especially good in the second half of games over his last 10 averaging 14.1 points on 56 percent shooting from the floor and 53 percent shooting from beyond the arc.
> Brown (20.5 ppg) and Jordan Clarkson (18.7) are the fourth highest scoring tandem in college basketball this season, combining for 39.5 points per outing ... Brown and Clarkson are just behind the Auburn pair of Chris Denson (20.9) and KT Harrell (19.2) and narrowly trail VMI’s QJ Peterson (20.7) and Rodney Glasgow (19.1) and Louisiana-Lafayette’s Elfrid Payton (19.9) and Shawn Long (19.6).
> Brown will play his 51st career game at Missouri on Wednesday and is already closing in on 1,000 career points ... The junior guard has scored 854 points at Mizzou (866 counting the 12 he scored in two games at Oregon) and his career scoring average of 17.0 points would be the 10th highest in school history with at least two seasons played ... Brown sat out the first half of the 2012-13 season due to transfer rules.

It was the club’s first non-league road win since a 75-68 win at Old Dominion on Dec. 30, 2011.

> Mizzou boasts a 149-23 (.867) record at home since the building opened in 2004-05 ... The Tigers are also 96-6 at home since 2008-09, amounting to an incredible .942 winning percentage.
> Non-conference opponents have not enjoyed their stops in Columbia, Mo., over the last few seasons and the Tigers have raced to an incredible 81 consecutive wins at home vs. non-league opposition since the end of the 2005-06 campaign ... Missouri’s last non-conference loss at home came vs. Sam Houston State in the 2005 Preseason NIT, but since then, Missouri has gone nearly eight full seasons without a loss.
> That non-conference win streak is No. 2 nationally behind Duke ... Duke has won 109 consecutive non-ACC games at home.
> Jordan Clarkson recorded the first 30-point game of the SEC season on Nov. 12 and logged the 26th 30-point game during Missouri’s SEC / Big 12 eras ...
