Columbia, Mo. -

Mizzou Basketball will have consecutive weekend home games against Alabama (Jan. 18) and South Carolina (Jan. 25) and Tiger fans are encouraged to participate in the marketing events surrounding both contests.

Mizzou will host the St. Louis Cardinals Caravan on Jan. 18 before the 1 p.m. game against the Crimson Tide. Doors to Mizzou Arena open at 11:30 a.m. and autographs with the Cardinals begin at that time. In attendance from St. Louis will be National League Championship Series Most Valuable Player Michael Wacha as well as Tyler Lyons, Jermaine Curtis and Stephen Piscotty. Cardinals Baseball alumni include Alan Benes and John Costello and the emcee will be former Voice of the Tigers, John Rooney.

The autograph tables will be located in the southwest corner of Mizzou Arena (adjacent to the student section). Fans will be limited to one autographed item per person. Guests will not be permitted to enter with baseball bats, or other equipment deemed dangerous by game management.

The following weekend (Jan. 25) Mizzou Basketball will host a Whiteout in support of Coaches vs. Cancer, which was co-founded by Norm Stewart. Fans are encouraged to wear white to Saturday's game. The contest will also be a part of the American Cancer Society's Suits and Sneakers Weekend. Both coaching staffs from Mizzou and South Carolina will wear sneakers with their suits to help raise awareness for Coaches vs. Cancer.

The Tiger Team Store is currently selling a commemorative Coaches vs. Cancer Whiteout shirt for $9.99 and a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit Coaches vs. Cancer.

Limited tickets for both games are available. Fans are encouraged to order online at mutigers.com/buytickets or by calling the Mizzou Athletics Ticket Office, 1-800-CAT-PAWS (884-PAWS in Mid-Missouri).

Please note that parking for all games will be free to the general public in Truman's Landing (formerly known as Reactor Field). Fan shuttles begin running from Truman's Landing 90 minutes prior to tip off and continue running 60 minutes after the completion of the game. For a detailed map, CLICK HERE.
