Missouri is now 7-1 for the third consecutive season and the fourth time in five years.
The Tigers are now 7-0 all-time against the Redhawks.
The win improved Mizzou's consecutive non-conference home game win streak to 70, dating back to early in the 2005-06 season.
Mizzou is in the midst of a 22-game winning streak in the month of December. The Tigers have not lost in December since Dec. 9, 2009.
The Tigers committed just six turnovers against SEMO, a new season low. The previous low was nine against Alcorn State.
Senior Laurence Bowers set a new career high with 24 points. His previous high was 23, which he set the last time out against Appalachian State. It also marked his third 20-point outing of the season and the seventh time in eight games this year he has reached double figures.
Bowers entered his senior season with 10 career 3-point field goals. In just eight games in 2012-13, he has already matched that with 10 3-point field goal makes in 16 tries this year.
Junior Tony Criswell notched a career high 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the floor. It was his second double figure output in as many games after not accomplishing the feat in the first six games of the season. He also made his first 3-point basket of the season in the first half.
Criswell is averaging 11.5 ppg. in the last two games after averaging 4.3 in the first six contests.
Senior Keion Bell recorded his first double-double of the season with 12 points and 11 rebounds. It was the seventh double-double of his career but his first as a Tiger. The other six came while he played at Pepperdine.
Bell's 11 rebounds were also a season high. His previous best this year was seven, which he posted against Nicholls State.
Junior Phil Pressey reached double figures for the sixth time in 2012-13 with 17 points. He also had a season high six rebounds against the Redhawks.
The Tigers grabbed 48 rebounds in the contest to mark the seventh time in eight games Mizzou has posted at least 40 rebounds.
