COLUMBIA, Mo. - In the team's final exhibition matchup, the Missouri Tigers toppled the visiting Central Missouri Mules with a 92-79 victory Friday evening at Mizzou Arena.

The Mules traveled to Columbia with an upset on their minds, as they used a strong start to lead Mizzou by a score of 45-43 after the first half. Central Missouri shot 18 of 38 (47.4-percent) in the first 20 minutes, compared to a 13 of 29 (44.8-percent) effort by the Tigers.

Led by a trio of second half 3-pointers by senior guard Earnest Ross, Mizzou would outscore the Mules by 15 points (49-34) in the second half. The Tigers took advantage of their trips to the charity stripe on the night, as they hit 33 of 45 (73.3-percent) free throws. In comparison, the Mules only got to the free throw line 13 times on the night, knocking down six of their attempts.

Along with Ross' team-leading 25 points, junior guard Jordan Clarkson chipped in with 24 points of his own, which included hitting 9 of his 10 free throws. Clarkson shot 50-percent (7-of-14) from the field on the evening, and also knocked down a three pointer.

Junior Jabari Brown came within one point from making it three Tigers players with 20 plus points on the night. His 19 points overall included two from long distance, and hitting 11-of-12 free throws.

Freshman Johnathan Williams, III delivered another strong performance for the Tigers, finishing with a team leading 13 rebounds.
