Mizzou shot 60 percent from the floor in the first half, which marked the seventh time this season the team shot at least 60 percent in a half.
Denmon made four 3-pointers in the game. It marked the sixth game he made at least four.
With the victory over Texas, 2011-12 marks the first season the Tigers defeated Texas in both football and men's basketball since 1997-98.
