One of the country's top freshman rebounders and finished his rookie season averaging 5.8 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.6 blocked shots per game ... Finished 11th in the league overall in rebounding and his 227 total rebounds were No. 4 in school history by a freshman, just one behind the 228 recorded by Kelly Thames in 1993-94 ... Was fifth in the SEC and No. 8 nationally among freshmen in blocked shots, averaging 1.6 per game ... His 57 total blocks were the second highest ever by a Tiger freshman (65 by Arthur Johnson) and is the fifth highest in program history regardless of class ...
