A valuable play-maker whose numbers don’t really do his contributions justice ... Averaged 1.7 points and 2.1 rebounds in 24 games, using his hard-nosed style and physical play on defensive end ... Had a solid Big 12 Tournament ... Contributed with 3 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists in 17 minutes vs. Texas A&M in tourney opener for MU ... Followed with 3 points and 4 rebounds vs. Oklahoma, including clutch driving bucket in final minute that gave MU its last lead of the game before last-second loss ... Also had 2 pts. Had missed previous 3 games (Jan. 20-27) due to sprained knee he suffered in first half of Kansas State game (Jan. 16) ... Was MU’s leading receiver this year, catching 44 passes for 709 yards and 4 touchdowns, and is a likely NFL prospect with his great size and athleticism at receiver.
