2002-03 SEASON Started three games for the Mizzou at the power forward spot ... averaged 1.4 points and 2.3 boards per contest in 30 games played ... recorded six blocks on the year ... scored a big bucket and drew a foul from KU's Jeff Graves in the first half of the Tigers' contest with KU ... also pulled down three boards against KU ... had three points and three rebounds against Iowa State ... pulled down two boards and nailed a free throw in nine minutes against Kansas State ... played nine valuable minutes of great defense for the Tigers, who were in deep foul trouble toward the end of the game against Oklahoma ... had two boards in three minutes of action against Colorado ... pulled down five boards and scored two points on a put-back dunk late in the contest off of a Ryan Kiernan miss against Nebraska ... played three minutes after serving a three-game suspension pulling down a defensive rebound against Texas A&M ... served the third game of a three-game suspension on Saturday against Texas Tech for breaking team rules ... had two points and two rebounds at Nebraska ... pulled down four rebounds in 11 minutes at Texas ... was back in the starting five for the first time in five games against Oklahoma State ... pulled down three rebounds against the Cowboys ... had three points and a rebound against Baylor to open Big 12 play ... had a huge night on the boards against Centenary pulling down a career-best 10 rebounds (four offensive) in just 16 minutes played ... also went 2-of-3 from the field for four points against the Gents ... had two points and pulled down two rebounds against Iowa ... played 13 minutes scoring two points and pulling down two rebounds off of the bench for the Tigers against Valpo ... started for the second straight game against Illinois ... had two rebounds against the Illini ... made the fourth start of his career and the first of the season against Memphis ... went for three points and five rebounds against the Tigers ... had two points and three rebounds in eight minutes against USC ... was busy in 13 minutes against Sacramento State, putting in four points while pulling down five rebounds ... recorded or equaled then career bests in points (7), field goals made (3) and field goals attempted (7) while pulling down eight rebounds in 15 minutes of playing time in the Tigers' win over Austin Peay ... also cashed in the first three-point field goal of his career against the Govs.

2001-2002 SEASON

Freshman forward who gave the Tigers good depth at the 4 or 5 positions, and developed into a solid contributor ... Saw action in 30 games, and started 3 straight contests in mid-February ... Established himself as one of the hardest working and most dedicated players on the team ... Gave efficient minutes in first 2 NCAA games, as he scored 4 pts. and grabbed 5 rebs. (including 4 on the offensive end) in a total of 9 minutes of playing time in Albuquerque ... Was rewarded for his improving play of late with his 1st career start Feb. 13 at Nebraska, and started 3 games overall ... Returned to coming off the bench Feb. 23 at CU, and had 2 pts. in 5 minutes ... Gave solid contributions in Feb. 25 win over OSU, w/5 rebs. & 2 pts. in 9 minutes of play ... Had 1 pt. & 4 rebs. in 14 minutes Feb. 20 at Texas Tech ... Played a total of 7 minutes at NU, but scored 2 pts. and helped Tigers stake an early lead that paved the way to a big road win ... Had arguably his best performance of the season Feb. 9 at Baylor, with 6 pts., 4 rebs. & 1 asst. in 15 minutes ... Was a perfect 3-of-3 from the floor, including 2 jumpers from 15-17 feet ... His playing time was the most he'd seen since playing 17 minutes Dec. 6 vs. Southern ... Had a solid 12-minute stint vs. ISU on Feb. 6, with 2 pts., 2 rebs. and 2 blocks and 1 asst. ... Got his bucket in the 1st half on a nice dunk off a post feed from Clarence Gilbert ... He had played a total of 13 minutes in his previous 3 games before ISU ... Had his development set back when he missed Dec. 29 and Jan. 2 games, as he was unable to leave his native Canada due to immigration paperwork problems following his visit home to Toronto for the holidays ... Situation was complicated due to the New Year holiday, stricter security and the fact that he had to go to Buffalo, N.Y. (where there was 7 feet of snow at the time) to get his paperwork in order ... Played in each of MU's 1st 10 games of the year, and averaged 2.8 pts. in 9.8 minutes per game ... After missing those 2 games, played in just 6 of MU's next 9 games , and averaged 0.5 pts. in 3.2 minutes ... Had 2 pts. Jan. 28 at KU on an offensive rebound and putback in 2nd half ... Had 2 pts. & 2 rebs. in 8 minutes Dec. 22 vs. #9 Illinois ... Had identical numbers (2 pts. & 2 rebs. in 8 minutes of play) Dec. 15 vs. #15 Iowa ... Played career-high 17 minutes Dec. 6 vs. Southern, and tallied 6 pts., 5 rebs. and 1 asst. ... Had a career-best 7-pt. outing vs. Grambling State ... Hit 2-of-4 FGs on the day, and was perfect in 3 attempts from the foul line ... Grabbed a career-best 9 rebounds in 15 minutes vs. Jackson State ... Ended the season shooting 46.5% from the floor (20-of-43 FGs) and connected on 11-of-17 FTs (64.7%).


A native of Toronto, Ontario, who moved to Benton Harbor, Mich. to attend Benton Harbor High School ... Was forced to sit out his senior year at Benton Harbor due to confusing Michigan rules concerning transfer students ... Practiced with the team all season, but was not allowed to play in the games ... Averaged 12.2 points, 10.1 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per game in his junior season at Benton Harbor, and shot a sterling 74 percent from the floor on the year ... Helped lead the team to a Big 8 Conference title, as well as a state championship the same year ... Was a first-team all-conference pick as a junior, as well as an honorable mention all-state selection ... Also lettered in track and field, competing in the high jump as well as the 400 meter dash ... Was a six-time honor roll awardee.
