ESPN SportsCenter #1 Play of the Day on March 26, 2009
Quickly:
Strong, hard-nosed guard that will find a way to win ... Hampered by a knee injury most of his freshman season and had knee surgery immediately following his first year ... Will be a more explosive player as a sophomore once fully healthy and back to full strength, but still brings a tough mindset on the defensive end that should allow him to see increased playing time ... Offensively he's a slashing guard that makes him just as comfortable going to the bucket or shooting the perimeter jumper.

That play was #1 on ESPN's Plays of the Day ... Was Mizzou's top free throw shooter by percentage at 79.5 percent and ranked among team leaders with 54 assists and 34 steals ... Those 34 thefts were tops amongst Tiger newcomers and actually equaled the 34 steals enjoyed by both Anthony Peeler and Clarence Gilbert during their freshmen campaigns ... Reached double figures nine times, including 15 tallies in his Division I debut against Prairie View A&M and a career high 16 vs. Iowa State at home ... Hit a career high 4-of-6 treys vs. the Cyclones for the best shooting night of his young career ... Also reached double figures with 14 points in the home win against Texas Tech and 14 against California.
