1998-99 SEASON **Big 12 All-Freshman Team** ? One of the Big XII?s top freshmen, who was named to the conference all-freshman team by league writers ... Also named to the Big 12 all-academic honorable mention team ... Was third on squad with 24 three point field goals, and had seven games with multiple threes made ... Saw action in all 29 games, and started five of MU?s last eight games ... Missouri was 4-1 in games in which he started ... Led team, and ranked 5th in the Big 12 Conference with an assist/turnover ratio of 1.83 ... Also finished 3rd in league games only with an excellent assist/turnover ratio of 3.00 (27 assists to just 9 turnovers in 16 league games) ... Made first career start on Feb. 8 at Iowa State, and responded with a career-high 13 points ... Hit 3-of-6 three pointers in the game, including three treys in the game?s opening minutes to stake MU out to a lead it never surrendered ... Had a solid game at Nebraska on Feb. 6th, scoring 11 points and adding six steals, nearly helping the Tigers claw all the way back from a 16-point deficit ... Turned in an efficient 12-minute game vs. Kansas (Jan. 11th), scoring 8 points and 3 steals late in the game as the Tigers tried to rally ... Later grabbed a career-high 7 rebounds on Jan. 24th at #19 Kansas ... Prior to joining MU, was selected to play in the prestigious Magic Roundball Classic in the spring, and scored six points.

IN HIGH SCHOOL ? Came to MU as a top-50 national player ... Teamed with fellow Tiger and longtime friend Keyon Dooling to form one of the nation?s premier prep backcourts ... Had outstanding senior campaign, helping lead team to a 26-7 record and Class 6A final four ... Earned second-team all-state after averaging 25 points, six steals and four assists per game ... Also averaged around six dunks per game ... Played in 1997 Coca-Cola/KMOX Shootout at Kiel Center, and scored 14 points ... Also added three assists, one steal and one rebound, despite playing with back spasms and stomach problems ... Signed hundreds of autographs for admiring Tiger fans at the event ... Scored 43 points in a pre-season game, and high point total during senior year was a 40-point outburst against Lakeland Kathleen ... Hit six three-pointers in that game, a feat he duplicated two other times during the year ... Scored at least 14 points in every game as a senior, and had 20 points or more 24 times, including eight games of 30 or more ... Summer prior to senior year, was named best underclassman at Adidas/ABCD camp ... As a junior, earned Fort Lauderdale Sun 4A-5A-6A Florida player-of-the-year, after averaging 23.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game ... As a freshman, helped lead Panthers to 6A final four, where they lost in title game to Daytona Beach Mainland, 62-45.
