Senior Matt Hobbs talks about the Tigers’ first two weeks of fall practice as well as what he is trying to accomplish.

Actually, it’s been pretty good. We’re coming together as a team. While some things seem the same, the conditioning has been different this year. It’s definitely been beneficial as guys have gotten their 60 times down. We’ve already had some guys run 6.5. We’re trying to get better as a team. We’re trying to find out where guys will be playing in the spring.

I’m trying to get back in shape. I took a little time off this summer after the draft. I’m try to get my arm back in shape and get stronger overall. I feel better overall about baseball and better about pitching. I’m trying to get better at hitting spots and becoming a better overall pitcher.
