COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Mizzou baseball program and head coach Tim Jamieson have announced the signing of nine prospects to National Letters of Intent on Wednesday (Dec. 11). The 2013 signing class, put together by recruiting coordinator Kerrick Jackson and the rest of the baseball staff, covers seven different states as Mizzou's recruiting efforts have continued to go national.

"We are very excited about our 2014 class of future Tigers," head coach Tim Jamieson said. "This group of players not only excels on the field with outstanding athletic ability but also possesses strong character. Each has the potential to be an impact player in our program."

"Shane is an outstanding athlete with a very high baseball IQ. He understands where to be, when to be there, and is a proven winner. At the plate, his line drive approach along with solid power makes him one of the top high school hitters in the country. Defensively, he's got quick feet, quiet actions, and a very strong arm. He comes from a long line of baseball experience as his father, brother, and two uncles all have played professionally. We look forward to him contributing right away."
