COLUMBIA, Mo. - Fresh off of its inaugural season in the Southeastern Conference, the Mizzou baseball team is in the middle of fall practice and has announced its annual Fall World Series dates on Friday (Oct. 18). The seven-game series will begin at Taylor Stadium next Tuesday (Oct. 22) at 5 p.m. and run through Nov. 1. The annual affair is a best-of-seven game series that splits the Tiger squad into Black and Gold teams and has them compete for fall supremacy. Below are the dates; the series is of course a best-of-seven, so the final three games will only be played if necessary.

Game 1 - Oct. 22 - 5 p.m..
Game 2 - Oct. 23 - 5 p.m.
Game 3 - Oct. 25 - 5 p.m.
Game 4 - Oct. 27 - 3:30 p.m.
Game 5 - Oct. 29 - 6:30 p.m. (if necessary)
Game 6 - Oct. 30 - 6:30 p.m. (if necessary)
Game 7 - Nov. 1 - 6 p.m. (if necessary)

Admission to every match is free. Last year, the Black Team, led by eventual second-round draft pick Rob Zastryzny, swept the Gold Team. For all the latest on Mizzou baseball, stay tuned to MUTigers.com and follow the team on twitter @MUTigerBaseball.
