Tigers Recruiting Class Ranked 11th by Baseball America

Mizzou's 2007-08 class consists of 16 newcomers.

Baseball America has released its rankings of the 2007, which has Missouri's incoming class ranked No. 11. The Tigers have 16 newcomers on its 2007-08 roster. The Tigers' class is the second highest ranking class in the Big 12, behind only Texas at No. 9.

Missouri's incoming class was also ranked in the top 20 by Collegiate Baseball earlier this fall.

Tigers Fall to Houston, 3-0

Missouri dropped its first game of the Houston College Classic at Minute Maid Park, falling to Houston by a score of 3-0 on Friday. It was the first time Mizzou had been shutout since April 11 of last season, when Baylor held the Missouri scoreless.

Missouri will take a 4-2 record into this weekend's Houston College Classic at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas. The Tigers will join a strong field this weekend, as three of the six teams in the event are ranked in the top-10. Mizzou will face Houston on Friday, before taking on No. 7 TCU on Saturday and No. 3 Texas on Sunday.

Aaron Senne Named Big 12 Player of the Week

Missouri senior Aaron Senne has been named the Big 12 Conference Player of the Week, as announced Monday by the league office. Senne hit .462 (6-for-13) in the Tigers' three games at the Auburn Classic last weekend, including three home runs and two doubles. He drove in six runs on the week and had a slugging percentage of 1.308.

Missouri Falls to Boston College

Boston College handed the Missouri baseball team a 14-6 loss on Sunday in the final day of action at the Auburn Classic. The loss snaps the Tigers' four-game winning streak.
