Mizzou fans can get their first look at the 2009 baseball Tigers when the squad hits the field for an intersquad scrimmage this Saturday prior to the football game against Buffalo. The baseball action will begin at 9 a.m. at Taylor Stadium and is free to the public.

"This give our fans an opportunity to get an early look at what we think will be a good baseball team when the season gets underway in the spring," Head Coach Tim Jamieson said. "We know that there will be several fans in town for the football game Saturday, and we hope they take advantage of this chance to check out our team before heading over to Faurot Field."

Fall practice for the Tigers is underway and will conclude with the annual Fall World Series on Oct. 26-29. Other intersquad scrimmages are planned during the fall workouts. Those dates and times will be announced as soon as they are determined.

Please note that there will be no public parking around Taylor Stadium on Saturday morning, as all football parking rules and regulations will apply.
