Breckin Williams has converted all 11 of his save opportunites

COLUMBIA, Mo. - As the mid-season of the summer leagues has come and gone, Mizzou baseball players look to make one more push toward their opportunity to prove themselves before they return back to Columbia for the fall session. Below is a look at what your Tigers have been up to.

Brandon Baker - St. Joseph Mustangs - MINK League
Brandon Baker is now 3-2 on the year in six starts for the Mustangs. After coming off a 7.0 scoreless-inning victory on June 22, Baker was dealt his first lost in four starts. He went 7.1 strong innings, giving up two earned runs with six strikeouts as the Mustangs fell 2-1 to the Clarinda A's. In Baker's most recent outing, he was given a no decision in only two innings pitched but the Mustangs rallied back for an 11-10 victory.

Cole Bartlett - Sedalia Bombers - MINK League
Cole Bartlett has seen action in six games for the Sedalia Bombers this summer, starting all six with at least six innings pitched in each game. He recently evened his overall record to 2-2, giving up just three hits in a six-inning performance on July 1. Bartlett had himself another strong outing on July 8, tossing eight innings while giving up just two earned runs and two walks. He earned a no decision in a 4-3 loss to the Joplin Outlaws. Bartlett now has a 2.02 ERA for the summer with 22 strikeouts in 40 innings pitched.

Logan Bone - Quincy Gems - Prospect League
Logan Bone is currently hitting at a .196 clip for the summer with seven RBI and three stolen bases. Bone came up with a couple big hits for the Gems on June 28, going 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI in a 4-2 victory against the Springfield Sliders.

Peter Fairbanks - Hyannis Harbor Hawks - Cape Cod League
Peter Fairbanks has yet to earn a decision in the premiere summer baseball league, the Cape Cod League. He has made five appearances thus far, with 15 innings pitched and an 8.40 ERA. Fairbanks has seen the majority of his action coming out of the Harbor Hawks bullpen.

Ryan Howard - Wisconsin Woodchucks - Northwoods League
Ryan Howard had appeared in 11 games for the Woodchucks after starting his summer for the Bourne Braves of the Cape Cod League. He is currently batting .270 with three RBI and two walks.

Jack Klages - Wisconsin Woodchucks - Northwoods League
Jack Klages has seen action behind the plate in 22 games this summer for the Woodchucks. He has compiled a .389 on-base percentage with 15 walks, eight RBI, and one home run.

Zack Lavy - Danburry Westerners - NECBL
Zach Lavy is hitting at a .258 clip this summer for the Westerners, tallying 10 runs, eight RBI and a home run. On June 27, Lavy went 2-for-3 with two walks, a double, and one RBI as the Westerners fell to the Plymouth Pilgrims, 9-4.

Jake Ring - Danburry Westerners - NECBL
With eight walks and 24 hits, the soon-to-be sophomore from Ingleside, Ill., has put together a .378 on-base percentage this summer for the Westerners. Ring also has nine RBI and three stolen bases.

Andrew Schwaab, Danbury Westerners - NECBL
Andrew Schwaab's 1.95 ERA is the lowest on the Danbury squad this summer with 17 strikeouts in 23 innings pitched. Schwaab has made two starts for the Westerners, exceeding six innings of work in both outings. In his last appearance, he went seven innings giving up just one earned run while fanning five.

Josh Lester Y-D Red Sox- Cape Cod
Josh Lester played a major role in the Red Sox hard fought 10-8 victory over Hyannis on July 7 in the Cape Cod League. Lester went 3-for-4 at the dish, scoring three runs and adding an RBI. After a slow start, the junior from Columbus, Ga., has turned it around with a .471 on-base percentage, four RBI and two doubles.

Brett Peel, Quincy Gems - Prospect League
Peel leads the Gems with 13 doubles so far this summer, compiling a .469 on-base percentage with a team-leading 27 walks. Peel made an appearance in the Prospect League All-Star game for the West Division on July 8, going 1-for-1 with a walk.

Austin Tribby, Wisconsin Woodchucks - Northwoods
Austin Tribby's summer for the Wisconsin Woodchucks has been nothing less than stellar. The lefty has compiled a 3-0 record with a 2.54 ERA in 28.1 innings pitched. Tribby boasts 29 strikeouts in a team-leading 17 game appearances.

Breckin Williams, LaCrosse Loggers - Northwoods
Breckin Williams joins Tiger teammate Austin Tribby as two of the top relief pitchers in the Northwoods league this summer. Williams has compiled a 2.36 ERA with 20 strikeouts in 19 innings pitched and a 1-0 record in a team-leading 15 appearances. He has seen the majority of his action as the teams closer, as he is 11-for-11 in save opportunities.
