Mizzou Baseball Hosts NCAA Selection Show Watch Party

Tigers will gather at T.K. Brothers on Monday.

The Mizzou baseball team will host a watch party for the NCAA Tournament Selection Show on Monday at T.K. Brothers restaurant in Columbia. The watch party will begin at 11 a.m., with the selections for the NCAA Tournament set to be announced at 11:30 a.m. on ESPN.

T.K. Brothers is located at 1412 Forum Blvd. in Columbia. All fans and media invited to attend.

The host sites for this year's NCAA Regional will be announced at 2:30 p.m. this Sunday on ESPNews.

The Tigers have advanced to the last four NCAA Tournaments and are currently participating in the Big 12 Conference Championship in Oklahoma City, Okla.

 

 

Former Tiger Kinsler Earns Prestigious Honor

Rangers second baseman Ian Kinsler began Wednesday with a shopping spree at Toys "R" Us to benefit the 2008 Toys for Tots drive. On Wednesday afternoon he was named the 2008 winner of the Rangers' prestigious Jim Sundberg Community Achievement Award.

Mizzou Baseball Announces 2009 Schedule

Mizzou Baseball has released its 2009 schedule, which will get underway on Feb. 20 against Nevada at the Grand Canyon Classic in Phoenix. The Tigers will spend the first two weeks of the season in the Phoenix area, playing nine games before its home opener against Western Illinois on March 1.

Mizzou Adds Game at Busch Stadium

The University of Missouri announced on Friday, that the Mizzou baseball team will face the Saint Louis Billikens on April 1 at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. The game will start at 7:15 p.m. Ticket information for this game will be announced at a later date.

Black Takes Fall World Series Title

The Black team picked up an 8-2 win in game three of Mizzou Baseball's Fall World Series to claim the series title, two games to one. Sophomore Nick Tepesch struck out 10 in 5.2 innings, allowing two runs on five hits in Monday's series finale.

Gold Evens Fall World Series With 13-12 Win

The Gold team evened Mizzou Baseball's Fall World Series by picking up a 13-12 win on Sunday at Taylor Stadium. The offenses for both teams were on display in game two, as 25 runs and 27 hits were put on the board in the seven-inning contest.
