The following is the fourth part in a five-part series previewing the 2008 Mizzou Baseball season. Today we take a look at the Tigers' outfielders for the upcoming season.

Mizzou has four very experienced players returning who will make up the three outfield positions.

Senior Jacob Priday, a two-time All-Big 12 selection, was relegated mostly to the designated hitter role in 2007 due to injuries, but looks to get more time in the outfield this season. Priday has led the team in home runs in each of his first three years at MU, including last year when he had 13 homers with a .297 batting average.

The corner outfielders from 2007 return for the upcoming season. Junior Ryan Lollis started 58 games in rightfield last year and sophomore Aaron Senne started 51 games in leftfield and two games in right.

Lollis hit .294 and drove in 52 runs, while Senne had a .289 average, hitting seven home runs and driving in 43 runs in his freshman campaign.

Senior Kurt Calvert had a very impressive fall to put himself into the mix for the starting spot in centerfield. Calvert has played in 41 games in two years with Missouri and is very solid in the field.

Sean Finley redshirted last season and, after a strong showing in the Fall World Series, will look for his first action with the Tigers in 2008.

Also looking to see their first collegiate experience for Mizzou will be junior Austin Holt and freshmen Russell LaFleur, Jonah Schmidt and Rex Meyr.
