PHOENIX, Ariz. - The remainder of the Oakland A's Spring Training Tournament has been cancelled after rain in the Phoenix area have made the playing fields unplayable. Mizzou defeated Portland in its season opener on Thursday in the only game of the weekend it was able to play.
Missouri was scheduled to face Oregon State on Friday and again Sunday and Northwestern on Saturday, but were unable to play any of those games because of the weather.
The Tigers will attempt to return to the field next Thursday against Winthrop in Rock Hill, S.C. as they participate in the Griffin/Pontiac Challenge.
