The Missouri vs. Oregon State baseball game, originally scheduled for Friday afternoon, has been cancelled due to rain in the Phoenix area. The Tigers are scheduled to return to play at the Oakland A's Spring Training Tournament at 10 a.m. (11 a.m. CST) on Saturday against Northwestern.
Mizzou opened the 2005 season with an 8-3 win over Portland on Thursday. Erik Dessau picked up the win and Greg O'Neill and Hunter Mense each recorded two hits to help MU to its third-consecutive season-opening win.
