COLUMBIA, Mo.- - Juniors Aaron Senne and Greg Folgia each homered for the second-straight game, but it wasn't enough as Kansas took a 7-4 win over Mizzou on Saturday to even the series. The loss is the first for the Tigers in their last eight Big 12 games.

Senne put Mizzou on the board with his fourth homer of the season, a two-run shot in the bottom of the first inning.

With the Tigers leading by one, Kansas put together a three-run top of the fifth inning, which included a home run by David Narodowski and a two-run base hit from Preston Land, to give the Jayhawks a 5-3 lead.

Folia cut the lead in half as he hit his team-leading 12th home run of the season to lead off the bottom of the fifth inning. However, that would be as close as Missouri would get as KU added a two-run home run from Brian Heere in the eighth.

The loss is the first conference loss for the Tigers since dropping the final game of their series with Kansas State on April 19. Mizzou fell to 29-23 overall and 15-11 in the Big 12, while Kansas improved to 35-17 on the year and 13-10 in league play.

Seniors Kyle Mach and Steve Gray each had two-hit days. Mach singled in each of his first two at-bats, extending his hitting streak to a career-long 12 days.

The series will conclude at 1 p.m. on Sunday at Taylor Stadium. Sunday's game is the final Big 12 Conference game for the Tigers this season.
