Notes

- Mizzou now trails the all-time series with Florida, 2-8, as the Gators have won three of the last four meetings.

- Mizzou is now 12-7 in night games this season, 5-4 on Fridays and 5-11 against ranked opponents.

- The loss for Mizzou snaps a two-game winning streak by the Tigers.

- Senior Eric Anderson singled to open the game as he was back in the leadoff spot after spending the last two games in the two-hole. It was the 19th time in 28 games as a leadoff hitter that he has reached base in his first plate appearance.

- Brett Graves walked a batter in the seventh inning, snapping a streak of 15.1 innings without allowing a walk. Graves has walked one or fewer batters in nine of his 11 starts and is averaging a career-best 1.32 walks per nine innings this season.

- Graves also went 7.0 innings on Friday, the eighth time in 11 starts this season that he has gone that deep in the ballgame.

- Mizzou is averaging just 2.81 runs per game in games started by Brett Graves.

- Anderson added a hit in the top of the eighth inning, good for his 13th multi-hit game of the season. That ties him for the team-lead in that category with Dylan Kelly and Kendall Keeton.

- Freshman outfielder Jake Ring tallied a single in the eighth inning as he also posted a multi-hit game. He now has seven multi-hit games this season, six of which have come in the last 17 games.
