Game Notes

-John Lester's single in the third and seventh extended his on-base streak to 8 games.

-Dylan Everett roped an RBI single in the fourth to increase his average with runners in scoring position to .444 this season.

-Jake Ring has reached base safely in 8 straight games now with an RBI bunt single in the fourth and a two out RBI single in the fifth. Three RBI's on the day makes that a career high for Ring.

-After a shaky first inning, Peter Fairbanks settled in and threw for a career long 6 innings on 4 hits, 4 runs and 4 strike outs. Improving his record to 3-2 on the season.

-A single in the fifth and a double in the sixth by Dylan Kelly ties his season long on-base streak at 9 games. That is the longest active on-base streak by a Tiger.

-The fifth inning was the first time the Tigers have put up more than 5 runs since they scored 10 in the sixth inning against Radford on February 21st, 2014.

-Anderson, Segovia, Kelly, Pearson, Lester, and Ring all had a multi-hit game today.

-Segovia hit 3 doubles today second tiger to have three doubles in a game this season since EA against Auburn, Mizzou hasn't had a three double game since 2010.
