- Ole Miss now leads the all-time series with Mizzou, 6-5, and has clinched the series over the Tigers.

- Sophomore Peter Fairbanks made his third career start and second of the week on Saturday. It was his first weekend start and his first ever SEC start. We went 2.0 innings, allowing three hits, one walk with one hit batter while allowing four earned runs.

- Keaton Steele tallied a leadoff single in the top of the second inning, extending his hitting streak to five consecutive games.

- Shane Segovia tallied a single in the second inning as well, extending his hitting streak to nine consecutive games, the longest such streak by a Tiger this season.

- Ryan Howard tallied a nine-pitch walk in the second inning. It was just the third walk issued by Ole Miss starter Christian Trent all season. Trent then walked Segovia in the seventh as Mizzou walked twice against Trent despite the lefty having walked just two batters all season.

- Mizzou had allowed just four homers all season entering the Ole Miss series, but after Sikes Orvis' third-inning homer, the Tigers have now given up five in the series.

- Eric Anderson tallied a one-out single in the sixth inning, extending his streak to 15 consecutive games reaching base safely. Segovia's single in the second inning extended hit on-base streak to 16 consecutive games, the longest such streak by a Tiger this season.

- Austin Tribby made his SEC-leading 16th appearance in the game on Saturday, pitching a shutout sixth inning and getting one out in the bottom of the seventh.
