•Eric Anderson continues to see the ball well as he roped a single to lead off the bottom of the first, extending his hitting streak to five games as well as putting his on-base streak to 13 games.

•Anderson's stolen base in the first is his first since the 2011 season. The Tigers now have 21 stolen bases on the year, which passes last year's total of 20.

•Mizzou has scored in the first inning seven of the last 11 games. The Tigers are now 8-1 when scoring in the first inning this season, winning six of the seven games in which they have done so in the last 11.

•Shane Segovia had a RBI single in the second to extend his hitting streak to seven games, also extending his on-base streak to 14 games.

•Peter Fairbanks threw for a career high 4.2 innings, giving up one unearned run on four hits. In his last two starts he has 8.2 innings pitched, no earned runs, no walks, nine hits and 4 strikeouts.

•The win today puts the Tigers at 3-2 against LHP starters for the season.

•Mizzou also improves to 4-0 in two game series.

•Austin Tribby made his SEC leading 14th appearance today in the eighth inning, giving up no hits and no runs.

•Ryan Howard kept his hitting and on-base streak alive with a RBI single in the first, extending them both to six games apiece.

•Breckin Williams recorded his second career save in as many days.

•Tigers finish up their 10 game homestand with a 7-3 record and have won eight of their last 11.
