COLUMBIA, Mo. -- - No. 4 Missouri completed a four-game sweep of Toledo with an 11-6 win in the second game of Sunday's doubleheader at Taylor Stadium. The victory is the eighth-straight for the Tigers, who at 13-2 on the season are off the best start at MU to the year since the 1985 team opened the year 14-0.

After taking a 3-1 win in Sunday's first game, the Tigers scored runs in each of the first six innings of game two to build an 11-0 lead. Toledo then scored six-unanswered runs over the final three innings.

Mizzou used a total of 24 players in the game, with 17 position players seeing time and seven pitchers going to the mound.

Freshman Brad Buehler started for the Tigers and earned the win, his first at Mizzou. He allowed just one hit in three scoreless innings on the hill. Freshmen Kelly Fick and Tyler Clark and junior Ryan Gargano each turned in a scoreless inning of work out of the bullpen.

Sophomore Greg Folgia extended his hitting streak to nine games with a first inning single. The streak is the longest by a Tiger this season and is the longest at Mizzou since Brock Bond put together an 11-game streak last season.

The Tigers will host South Dakota State in a two-game set starting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Taylor Stadium. Game two of the series will get underway at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
