Folgia's Double Gives Missouri 9-8 Win

COLUMBIA, Mo. -- - Sophomore Greg Folgia delivered a two-out double in the bottom of the ninth inning to drive in sophomore Trevor Coleman with the game-winning run, as Missouri defeated Indiana State 9-8 in game one of Sunday's doubleheader at Taylor Stadium.

With the game tied at one heading to the bottom of the sixth inning, sophomore Aaron Senne hit a two-run home run to give the Tigers a 3-1 lead. Senne hit a second home run on the day in the seventh inning, a three-run shot over the left center field wall. The Tigers scored five runs in the seventh after ISU had put five runs on the board in the top half of the inning.

Senne finished 3-for-5 in the game, with five RBI and two runs scored. He drove in five runs for the second game this season and extends his hitting streak to seven games.

Junior Ian Berger allowed just one run, which was unearned, on three hits in six innings on the mound, but did not factor in the decision. Junior Scooter Hicks earned the win after pitching a scoreless ninth inning.
