The Black team picked up a 12-6 come-from-behind victory on Tuesday to take a 2-0 lead in Mizzou's Fall World Series. After falling behind 6-1, the Black squad scored the final 11 runs of the game, including putting together two four-run innings.

Black Team Takes Opener of Fall World Series

Game one of Mizzou's Fall World Series was won by the Black team in 10 innings. The game was forced to extra innings after a four-run bottom of the ninth inning by the Gold Team evened the score at six. The Black team responded in the 10th inning by plating six runs and held on for a 12-9 victory.

Renovation work contiues at Taylor Stadium and work has begun on installing the new scoreboard/videoboard. In addition, construction continues on the Tigers' new indoor/outdoor batting cages.

Tiger Bullpen Scramble Set for Oct. 2

The 15th Annual Missouri Baseball Bullpen Scramble will be held on Oct. 2 at A.L. Gustin Golf Course in Columbia. The day will begin with registration and a pre-tournament lunch at Noon with a shotgun start set for 1 p.m. for the scramble format.
