Posted the most impressive performance at the plate of any Tiger during the 2002 Fall World Series ? led all hitters with a sizzling .619 average (13-for-21) with two doubles, a triple, four RBI and a team-high 10 runs scored ? had multiple hits in each of the last four games ? went 4-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored in Game 2 ? went 3-for-4 with a run scored in Game 3 ? scored four runs in Game 4 ? was 3-for-4 with three runs scored in Game 5.

Arizona State: Transferred to Arizona State from Central Arizona in January 2002 ? hit .230 in 29 games for the Sun Devils, and started in 17 games ? added two doubles and nine RBI, and was 4-of-4 in stolen-base attempts.

Central Arizona: Hit .405 with 17 doubles, one triple and three home runs, knocked in 37 runs and stole 24 bases ? named second-team all-ACCAC and helped lead CAC to the league title in 2001 ? after the 2001 season was drafted in the 26th round by the Arizona Diamondbacks, but did not sign.
