Prior to Mizzou
• Went 4-3 with a 5.61 ERA and 47 strikeouts and one save while playing for head coach Andy Morgan at Coffeyville Community College.
• In his career at Coffeyville, Holovach compiled a 7-8 record with a 5.15 ERA and 91 strikeouts.
• In his freshman season, he went 3-5 with a 4.69 ERA in 60.0 innings pitched while striking out 44 batters.
• Member of the KJCCC All-Academic team in 2010 and was an NJCCA Academic All-American in 2011.
• In high school, he was an honorable mention All-State selection in 2009.
• Member of the Principal's Honor Roll in 2006 and was a member of the honor roll from 2007-2009 at Overland Park West.
Personal
• Son of Stacy and Carol Holovach and was born on March 27, 1991, in Wichita, Kan.
• Plans to major in health studies while at Mizzou.
• Did not start pitching until the summer before his senior year of high school.
