• Hit .122 in 28 games, starting 11, while scoring seven runs with six hits and an RBI in his senior season.
• Walked four times and stole a pair of bases as well.

• Hit .270 with 25 runs, 23 RBI and a .374 on-base percentage while totaling 189 at-bats in 54 games as the Tiger center fielder.
• Was third on the team with 12 stolen bases, needing just 15 attempts as his 80-percent mark was second on the team.
• Boasted a .973 fielding percentage as the every-day center fielder for the Tigers and he made one of the top defensive plays of the season, gunning down the would-be tying run in game two of the Texas A&M series for the final out as the Tigers escaped with a 4-3 win.
• Had 13 multi-hit games on the season.
• Reached base in a school-record 32 straight games midway through the season before going o-5 in the Saturday game at Texas Tech. The 32 straight games ties Champagne with former Tiger All-American Aaron Senne for the record.
• Went 3-for-5 in the Tigers' series finale against Baylor, scoring two runs in the 12-7 loss.
• Went 2-for-5 with three runs and two more driven in in the Tigers' 12-7 win over Central Arkansas in the opener of that two-game set.
• Drove in a season-best five runs, going 3-for-4 with a double and two stolen bases in the Tigers' 21-5 win over North Dakota.

• Was second on the team with his .294 average while his .398 OBP was a team-best.
• Finished the season with 13 stolen bases on 19 attempts.
• His 30 runs scored on the season were third-best on the team and his 27 RBI were ranked fourth among Tigers in 2011.
• Walked 26 times and was hit by 12 pitches as he reached base in nearly 40-percent of his plate appearances.
• Drove in a pair of runs and scored two more in the season-opening game at Cal-Poly (2/18).
• Tallied a pair of hits with a run scored and two RBI against UIC (3/5).
• His first three-hit game of the season came against Le Moyne (3/13) as he went 3-5 with a pair of runs scored and two RBI.
• Went 3-6 with a run scored and two RBI just two games later against Central Michigan (3/19).
• Against Kansas, he went 3-5 with a pair of runs scored (4/16), including the game-winner on a walk-off single by Blake Brown in the bottom of the ninth inning.
• From May 7-13, he put together a streak of three games in which he went 5-14 with seven RBI and three runs scored, including a 1-3 effort with four RBI in the series opener against Texas Tech.
• Compiled a season-long 10-game hit streak from April 27-May 14.
• Spent the summer playing for the SLO Blues in the CCL.
• Academic All-Big 12 First Team honoree.

• Was 2-for-4 with an RBI against Washington in his first collegiate game.
• Had a pair of hits against Florida Atlantic on Feb. 26.
• Went 2-for-4 with an RBI in the first game of the series vs. North Dakota.
• Had two hits, two RBI and two runs scored against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on March 23.
• Recorded a hit and scored twice in the final game of the Baylor series.
• Season was interrupted twice and eventually cut short due to injury.

• Was selected the 2008-09 St. Charles Male Athlete of the Year by the St. Charles County Amateur Hall of Fame.
• Named to the All-State first team by the Missouri High School Coaches Association in 2009.
• Selected to the all-state second team in 2006 and earned all-state honorable mention in 2008.
• Named the GAC North Conference Player of the Year as a senior and was a first team all-district selection in his freshman season.
• Was a four-time first team all-conference selection for St. Charles (Mo.) West High School.
• Holds the career school records for hits (139), stolen bases (83), runs (124) and walks (54) and holds season school records for hits (39), runs (42) and stolen bases (27).
• Was also a three-year starter as a quarterback and defensive back and earned all-state honors in 2008.
• Holds 10 football school records.
• Also a four-year letterwinner in basketball at St. Charles West High.
• Was his class Valedictorian, compiling a 4.0 grade-point average.
• Held offices with the National Honor Society, Breakfast Club, Student Council and Circle of Friends Club.
• Volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club and was awarded a Principal's Leadership Awards in 2009.
