Brian Bilica will join the Tiger coaching staff this season as a student assistant after speding last season as part of the Mizzou pitching staff.
Bilicia walked on to the squad last season as a right-handeder and provided invaluable leadership in the dugout.
On the mound, he allowed just one earned run in five innings, striking out seven batters in four appearances.
Prior to coming to Mizzou, Bilica attended community college in Connecticut before entering the Air Force.
He served with the Air Force for four years before retuning to college baseball last year.
