COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou cross country runners Hayden Legg (Mexico, Mo.) and Bailey Belvis (Prosper, Texas) have earned All-Region recognition, as announced Monday (Nov. 14) by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Belvis finished 19th in the women’s 6K race at Saturday’s NCAA Midwest Regional in DeKalb, Ill., while Legg finished 20th in the men’s 10K race. Athletes who finished in the top 25 at the regional meet qualified for All-Region honors.
The Tigers’ men’s and women’s squads both finished seventh in their respective team competitions. A total of 25 schools participated on the men’s side, and 28 teams ran in the women’s meet.
