Wood, Blahnik Turn in Top-10 Nods at Cross Country Juniors

St. Louis, Mo. - The Mizzou cross country team ran two of its student-athletes at the USATF Cross Country Junior Championships on Saturday (Feb. 11) and both runners finished among the top 10 runners at the event. Freshman Courtney Wood (Neosho, Mo.) led the way for the Tigers, placing sixth out of 39 runners on the 6K trek with a time of 21:35.00.

The Tiger men were also well-represented as Bryant Blahnik (Red Wing, Mo.) took 10th overall in the men's junior 8K at 25:21.80, ranking him as the fourth collegiate athlete at the meet. He was 10th out of 43 runners in the event, which was held in St. Louis.
