After running to an eighth-place finish at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships on Saturday (Nov. 14), Mizzou cross country freshman Kaitie Vanatta (Littleton, Colo.) has earned an at-large bid to the NCAA National Championships, as announced by the NCAA on Sunday (Nov. 15). The berth is Vanatta's first trip to the national championships as she is a true freshman this season.

The Mizzou cross country program will continue its run through the postseason as it heads south to Springfield, Mo., to take part in the NCAA Midwest Regional at the Missouri State Cross Country Facility on Saturday (Nov. 14).
