Cross Country- Was 2nd to cross the line for the Tigers at the opening meet against Arkansas with a time of 20:31.4 (6600m) to place 9th...Placed 35th at the Roy Griak Invitational... Set a new PR of 24:16 at the Adidas Invitational...In total competed in 6 races including the SEC Championship where he place 26th and the NCAA Midwest Regional (10k) where he placed 55th with a time of 31:31.2


Cross Country- Tyler's stand-out freshman year began with a 6th-place finish, 3rd for the Tigers, at the Iowa State Invitational, crossing the line in 25:29...He continued to place consistently in the top ten throughout the season, including a 2nd-place finish for the black and gold, 27th overall, at the Greater Louisville Classic...His 24:23.54 PR at the Classic was enough to get him his first of two SEC Freshman of the Week recognitions...Schneider would hold the top time for a freshman in the SEC until the conference championship...Tyler went on to finish 5th for the squad at the Adidas Wisconsin Invitational, navigating the 8k course in 24:45 and earning him the second SEC Freshman of the Week honor...Ended the season at the SEC Championships in Nashville, TN, where he finished 38th overall with a final time of 25:02.12, earning a spot on the All-SEC Freshman Team

Indoor Track- Redshirted the season...Competed at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge where he placed 2nd in the mile with a time of 4:14.29

Outdoor Track- Redshirted the outdoor season...Was 3rd in the 5k at the Missouri Relays, crossing in 14:31.12...Bested that time at the Polytan Invitational, winning the event in 14:27.59...Qualified for the 10k at the USATF Junior Championships, where he placed 6th overall in 32:46.22

Ran for James B. Conant HS under coaches Russ Dahl and John Powers...Team was Mid-Suburban League Champion for Track (2009)...As an individual in Cross Country, Tyler qualified for the 2011 State Championships, finishing 38th in 15:12 (2011)...He also Qualified for the Mid-East Cross Country Championships, Foot Locker Midwest Regional, and the Nike Cross Nationals Midwest Regional, where he took 2nd in 16:28.1 (2011)...On the Track, Tyler was an Indoor State Qualifier in the 1600m (3rd) and 4x800m, and Outdoor State Qualifier in the 1600m and 3200m (2012)...He also qualified for the USATF Junior Nationals for the 5k, where he placed 15th in 15:26.76 (2012)...Qualified for the Midwest Distance Festival, finishing 5th in the 2 mile (2012)
