Arkansas Dual in Fayetteville where she was the ninth Tiger across the line on the 4000-meter course...She went on to finish eighth on the team at the Roy Griak Invitational before finishing with a 5000-meter PR of 18:46.00 at the Notre Dame Invitational, leading the team in the open race with a sixth-place finish overall...Closed her season at the Bradley Classic crossing in 49th with a season's best 22:07.
Indoor Track - Ali focused on the 800-meter and mile runs during most of the indoor season, with the exception of her second-place finish in the 1000-meter run at the Missouri Opener...She earned new PR's in both the 800-meters and the mile, starting with her mile PR at the Rod McCravy Memorial Meet where she finished in 13th overall with a final time of 4:55.60...Earned a lifetime best in the 800-meter run at the Missouri Invitational, crossing in 2:14.11 for third overall.
Outdoor Track - Ali competed primarily in the 800-meter run during the outdoor season, starting with a season's best finish of 2:11.57 at the Crimson Tide Invitational in Tuscaloosa, Ala...Clocked in a new PR during her only 1500-meter run of the season with her 4:38.80 finish at the Bryan Clay Invitational...Ali finished her season at the SEC Championships, where she finished with a 2:12.11 800-meter performance.

Cross Country - Ali ran consistently in the top 10 for the Tigers throughout the season...She started off with a 15th-place overall finish, fourth for the black and gold, at the Iowa State Invitationl, crossing in 19:19 for the 5000-meter course...Bested that time at the Greater Louisville Classic, closing in 18:48.46...Was fourth for the Tigers in her first 6000-meter run, navigating the Adidas Wisconsin Invitational course in 22:02.10...Finished ninth for the squad at the SEC Championships in Nashville, Tenn., before ending the season as their fifth finisher at the NCAA Midwest Regional.
Indoor Track - Was a member of the winning 4x800-meter relay squad at the Missouri Invitatonal, and placed third in the 1000-meter run with a time of 2:58.58...Had a breakthrough performance at the Rod McCravy Memorial Meet in Lexington, Ky., placing fifth in the mile with a PR of 4:59.03...Was the runner-up in the 800-meter run at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge with a final time of 2:15.90...Represented the Tigers at the SEC Championships in Fayetteville, Ark., as a member of the ninth-place DMR squad.
Outdoor Track - Ali started the season with a 1500-meter/800-meter double at the Missouri Relays, finishing fourth in the 800-meters and sixth in the 1500-meter with a final time of 4:51.29...Was 12th at the Arkansas Spring Invitational in the 1500-meter run, and helped the 4x400-meter relay squad to a ninth-place finish.

Indoor Track - Ali started the season at the Missouri v. Kansas Dual where she earned second in the 800-meter run (2:17.43), and was part of the winning DMR team...Ran 2:17.27 in the 800-meters at the Illini Classic before notching a new PR in the event at the Bill Bergan Invitational, crossing in 2:14.28...Ran another PR, this time in the 1000-meter run, at the Texas A&M Invitational, where she took third in 2:53.81...Competed as part of the seventh-place DMR team at the Big 12 Championships, earning an All-Big 12 honor.
Outdoor Track - Ali primarily raced the 800-meters, beginning with a fourth-place performance at the Missouri Relays where she crossed in 2:14.77...Followed that performance up with a 19th-place finish at the LSU Invitational...Finshed third at the Tom Botts Invitational, crossing in 2:13.89...Was a member of the second-place SMR team at the Kansas Relays, where she also took fourth in the 800-meter run (2:14.19)...Competed at the Drake Relays, taking sixth in the SMR and 10th in the 4x800-meter relay...Ended the season at the Big 12 Championships where she took 12th in the 800-meter run with a new PR of 2:10.63 and ninth in the 4x400-meter relay.

Ali competed for Rosati-Kain HS under coaches Veronica Shead and Maureen Polasek...CROSS COUNTRY...She helped her team to two Cross Country District Championship titles (2007-08)...TRACK & FIELD...Was a member of three MSHSAA All-State relay teams for track, taking seventh (2007) and fifth (2008) in the 4x400-meter relay, and the 4x800-meter relay (2008)...Earned an individual All-State honor in 2008 for the 800-meter run.
