Cross Country - Kayla made her Tiger debut at the season-opening Arkansas v. Mizzou Dual in Fayetteville, Ark., where she finished 14th overall, sixth for Mizzou, with a final time of 14:44 on the 4000-meter course...She was the fourth Tiger across the line at the Roy Griak Invitational in Minneapolis, Minn., navigating the 6000-meter course in 22:47.65...She bested that time at the Bradley Classic in Peoria, Ill., when she hit a PR of 22:07.30...Kayla ended her season at the SEC Championships in Gainesville, Fl., where she was the seventh across the line for the black and gold, 75th overall.

Indoor Track - Kayla kicked off her season with a winning performance in the 1000-meter run at the Missouri Opener, crossing in 2:54.48...She hit an 800-meter PR at the Missouri Invitational, crossing in 2:14.45 for fourth in the field...She also competed in the mile run during the season, and hit a top time at the Tyson Invitational where she placed fourth overall in 4:54.71...Kayla closed her season at the SEC Championships in College Station, Tx., where she was a member of the fifth-place DMR squad.

Outdoor Track -Kayla started her season with a 2:11.32 performance in the 800-meters at the Crimson Tide Invitational, crossing in ninth overall...She bested that time a month later at the Tom Botts Invitational, which she won in a PR time of 2:11.01...She also competed in the 1500-meter run throughout the season, starting at the Mt. SAC Relays where she crossed in 4:27.04...She bested that at the SEC Championships, where she hit a PR of 4:24.53 to qualify for the finals, finishing 11th in the field...Kayla ended her season at the NCAA West Preliminary Round, where she finished 34th in the 1500-meter run with a final time of 4:27.00,
