Mizzou Men take 5th at the NCAA Midwest Regional, Women take 16th
The Tiger Men have not qualified for the NCAA Championships since 2000
The Missouri Cross Country squads made history this morning as they took on their first SEC Championship
The Cross Country squads will be the first Missouri teams to compete in an SEC Championship event
Both teams look toward the end of the season after facing tough competition in Madison on Friday

Cross Country- Finished 173rd in the 8K race at the NCAA Pre-Nationals on Oct. 15, clocking in at 26:32...Took 55th at the Big 12 Championship, finishing the 8K course in 25:22.7...Was 54th at the NCAA Midwest Regional, putting in a final time of 32:44.9 for the 10K course...Named to the Academic All-Big 12 Second Team
Indoor Track- Set two Personal Records this season, in the 3K and 5K...His first race was at the MU-KU Dual Meet, where he ran an 8:57.72 3K to earn 9th...His 3K PR came at the following meet, the Bill Bergan Invitational, where he crossed the line in 8:37.83...The 5K PR came next, finishing the 5K at the GVSU Big Meet in 14:47.72...His last meet of the season was the Missouri Collegiate Challenge, where he finished 4th in the 3K running an 8:48.34

Cross Country- Did not compete
Indoor Track- Ran primarily in the 3K and 5K, posting season-best times of 8:49.78 and 15:04.79, respectively...Ran his season-best clocking of 8:49.78 in the 3K en-route to a 5th place finish at the MU-KU Border Dual...His season-best time of 15:04.79 in the 5K came at the Iowa State Classic...
Outdoor Track- Reset personal-best marks in four different events: the 1500m, 3K, 5K, and 10K...Clocked a PR of 4:01.48 in the 1500m at the Missouri Relays to place 10th...His PR in the 3K came at the Tom Botts Invitational as he clocked in at 8:43.62, placing 6th...Competed in the 10K at the Big 12 Championship, and crossed the line with a new PR of 31:12.22 to place 15th...His PR in the 5K came at the Indiana Invitational, where he finished in 14:52.95
Cross Country- Competed at each of the Tigers' postseason meets with his best showing coming at the Big 12 Championship where he placed 77th overall on the 8K course, finishing in 27:11.57...Also ran at the NCAA Midwest Regional where he finished 83rd overall with a 10K time of 34:27.50...His only other race of the season came at the Arkansas Chile Pepper Festival where he clocked a 10K PR of 32:14 to earn 77th
Indoor Track- Ran unattached at the Missouri Invitational, placing 5th in the 3K with an 8:47.26...Competed unattached at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge, racing the mile in 4:23.78 to place 5th
Outdoor Track- Ran unattached at the Missouri Relays, finishing the 5K race in 14:59.02
Tyler ran for Buffalo HS...He was All-Conference and All-District in Cross Country in 2006 and 2007, and took the Conference and District Titles in 2008...He was MSHSAA All-State in Cross Country in 2006 and 2007...After a marked improvement during his senior year, Tyler ran to the 2008 MSHSAA State Title, crossing the line in 16:44...On the Track, Tyler was All-Conference in the 800m (2009), 1600m (2007), and 3200m (2007, 2008)...He was Conference Champion in the 1600m (2009) and 3200m (2009)...Earned All-District honors for the 1600m (2007), and was District Champion in 2009...Was also All-District for the 3200m (2006-2009)...Was All-State for the 3200m in 2009...High School Bests are 4:27.16 (1600m), 9:38.67 (3200m), and 15:54.3 (5K XC)
