Friends of Track and Field Website
COLUMBIA, Mo. -- The Mizzou track and field program would like to announce the launching of the official website for `Friends of Mizzou Track and Field,' a website that will keep fans, student-athletes, prospective student-athletes and any `friend of Mizzou track and field' up to date on all the latest Tiger track and field news. These additional services are available to the `Friends of Track and Field' that make qualifying donations to the program.
The website will supplement the coverage already found on MUTigers.com - the athletic department's official website - while offering fans inside access to the program. A variety of new media and multimedia platforms will be used on the site to help provide fans with blogs, race/event video and exclusive one-on-one interviews with some of the program's most prominent student-athletes and coaches.
The site will feature `Twitter' and `Facebook' functions that will help the program keep up with the social networking craze and also feature all of the current news on Mizzou track and field.
