COLUMBIA, Mo.--The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced earlier this month those who have landed on their All-Academic team. Thirteen Tigers from the track and field/cross country teams landed on the list. To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track & Field Team, an athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher and must have met the NCAA Division I regional or national qualifying standard in his or her event.

In addition, all the squads in the Missouri track and field program produced high marks in the classroom as the women's cross country team led all of Mizzou with a 3.55 GPA, next was the women's track and field team at 3.36, the men's cross country squad marked a 3.26 GPA, and the men's track and field squad came in at 3.10.

The women's track and field team was named as a USTFCCA All-Academic team for both the indoor and outdoor season, marking the group's 34th-consecutive season as an All-Academic team, a feat that no other team around the nation can claim.
